Venetiaanse School
Met Tien eeuwen polyfonie brengt Festifal Oude Muziek 2005 een klein millennium meerstemmige muziek voor het voetlicht. In dit concert staan Italiaanse componisten uit de Renaissance centraal. Het gaat hier vooral om componisten die bekend zijn van de Venetiaanse School welke een grote invloed had op de vroege barokmuziek in geheel Europa.
In dit concert wordt o.a. gebruik gemaakt van de zink (cornetto), een blaasinstrument dat zijn hoogtepunt had in de Renaissance.
