Bijzondere Amerikaanse harpcomposities

In Thema van woensdag 24 april om 20:00 uur zijn composities voor multiple harpen te horen waarmee verrassende klankresultaten worden bereikt.

Muziek van vroege pioniers als John Cage en Lou Harrison, maar ook een vergeten klassieker voor acht harpen van Robert Moran. Centraal staat een recent uitgebracht monumentaal werk voor zes harpen, ‘Changes’ van James Tenney.
