In De Wandeling (dinsdag 21 april om 19 uur) zetten we een componist in het zonnetje, die luistert naar de naam Franck. Nee, het gaat niet om de Belg César, maar om de Duitser Eduard Franck.

Geboren in 1817 en overleden in 1893. Leerling van Mendelssohn. Voortreffelijk pianist, wiens oeuvre totaal onbekend is gebleven. Deels door eigen schuld. Want hij was zo perfectionistisch dat hij de publicatie ervan maar voor zich uit bleef schuiven.
