In 'De Wandeling' deel I van een serie over 'Felix en het strijkkwartet'. Vanaf zijn elfde speelde wonderkind Mendelssohn wekelijks strijkkwartet. Viool of altviool, het maakte hem niet uit. Hij hoefde nauwelijks te studeren. En al gauw begon hij zelf ook voor dat medium te componeren.
