Herkansing voor Hummel. Deel II dinsdag 24 februari 19.00-20.00 uur. Thijs Bonger is nog lang niet klaar met Hummel.

In een reeks uitzendingen doet programmamaker/presentator Thijs Bonger een poging tot eerherstel van Johann Nepomuk Hummel(1778-1837).

Deel II: Hummel is na een lange tournee weer terug in Wenen, waar hij compositieles krijgt van o.a. Salieri. Hij verdient de kost als pianoleraar. Als improviserend pianovirtuoos wordt hij concurrent van Beethoven.
