Het album If It Was So Simple van Longdancer

In het programma Disc-Cover vrijdag 10 juni om 20:00 uur kun je luisteren naar Longdancer, een groep met meerstemmige vocalen, verweven akoestische gitaarpartijen, cryptisch filosofische teksten en gewoon toegankelijke folkrock.

The Tourist en The Eurythmics voorman Dave A. Stewart maakte in 1973 zijn langspeelplatendebuut met de Britse viermansformatie Longdancer. En dat is geheel andere koek dan de geproduceerde synthpop van The Eurythmics. Het gaat echter te ver om de interesse aan het debuutalbum If It Was So Simple louter aan de latere bekendheid van Stewart toe te schrijven.
