Een vat vol tegenstrijdigheden was Jean Cras (1879-1932). Op dinsdag 26 augustus van 19.00 - 20.00 uur komt u meer over hem te weten.

Hij combineerde een glanzende carrière bij de Franse marine - hij zwierf jarenlang over de wereldzeeën en werd schout-bij-nacht - met het componeren van veel sfeervolle muziek, qua stijl laverend tussen Duparc, Debussy en Ravel. Daarnaast was hij ook nog eens uitvinder van nautische instrumenten.
