Dinsdag 6/7 20 uur. In deel VII gaan we dieper in op een van Beethovens weldoeners en sponsors, Graaf Waldstein, die een cruciale rol heeft gespeeld in Beethovens carrière. Want door hem kon Beethoven uiteindelijk in Wenen bij Haydn gaan studeren. Maar ook al in Bonn deed hij veel voor hem en stopte hem soms geld toe. Niet zo gek dat Beethoven wat terugdeed en composities aan hem opdroeg.
