De 67-jarige Oekraïense componist/pianist Lubomyr Melnyk treedt 11 december op in Tivoli/Vredenburg. X-Rated geeft zondag 4 december kaarten weg voor dit concert.

Lubomyr Melnyk wil met zijn minimalistisch-meditatieve melodieën een balsem zijn voor de ziel van de moderne mens. Zelf noemt Melnyk zijn stijl ‘continuous music’, een prima omschrijving voor de trance-opwekkende stroom van arpeggio’s, die op hoge snelheid uit zijn vingers rolt. Denk: Chopin, maar ook Nils Frahm.
