Luister zondagmorgen – 8 februari van 10.00 tot 11.00 uur - naar het programma Madge-point op de Concertzender. In aflevering 26 gaan Geoffrey Madge en Louis Thörig het hebben over transcripties en parafrases.

Werken van en/of door Leopold Godowsky, Andry Schulz-Evler, Franz Liszt en Sergei Rachmaninov.

Bij Schulz-Evler hebben we het over zijn bewerkingen van de walsen van Johann Strauss, Van Godowsky horen we liederen van Richard Strauss en van Liszt komt Schubert’s Erlkönig ter sprake.

Rachmaninov speelt zelf een eigen transcriptie van een stuk van Bach.
