Mokoombaa in Concertzender Live

Mokoomba

Vrijdagavond 26 mei 2017 van 20:00 - 21:00 uur wordt het concert uitgezonden van Mokoomba, een jonge band uit Zimbabwe, dat werd opgenomen op 17 februari 2017 in Lantaren/Venster in Rotterdam.

Mokoomba is afkomstig uit Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Zij spelen Zuid-Afrikaanse- en Tonga ritmes, en in hun muziek zijn ook invloeden te horen van Afro-beat, soul, soukous en Congolese rumba. Het zestal gebruikt zowel traditionele als hedendaagse instrumenten en kunnen zowel verstild a capella zingen als een soukous dansspektakel op het podium neerzetten.
