Dinsdag 10 januari 14:00 uur begint een nieuwe grote serie op de Concertzender: Opera in de 20e eeuw. In deze serie, van Luc Nijs, aandacht voor de ontwikkeling van de opera van 1900 tot heden.

In de eerste aflevering, de hoogtepunten uit het jaar 1900. Aan het begin van de nieuwe eeuw leveren zowel de Franse, Engelse, Russische als Italiaanse traditie aan de lopende band nieuwe operacomponisten en producties af.
