Thea Derks volgt het muziekspoor van Reinbert de Leeuw aan de hand van haar in maart 2014 verschenen biografie Reinbert de Leeuw: mens of melodie. De pianist, componist en dirigent heeft veel betekend voor het Nederlandse muziekleven en neemt daarin nog altijd een prominente positie in.

In deze tweede aflevering op woensdag 5 november om 21.00 uur volgen we De Leeuw op zijn ontdekkingsreis naar de chromatische muziek. Met muziek van Robert Schumann, Arnold Schönberg, Franz Liszt, Aleksander Skrjabin en Reinbert de Leeuw zelf.
