Perestrojka: Nodar Gabunia

Perestrojka # 27. Onze serie met werk dat tot stand kwam rond verbouwing (perestrojka) en ineenstorting ('destroyka') van het communisme in Oost-Europa, doet op 8 januari voor de vijfde maal 'land van weggeweest' Georgië aan.

De uitzending van 8 januari (20.00 - 21.00 uur) is geheel gewijd aan werken van componist Nodar Gabunia (foto links).

Zelf speelt hij zijn Tweede Pianosonate. U hoort het met de Unesco-prijs bekroonde kamermuziekwerk ‘Fabel’.

Natalia Gabunia

Dochter Natalia Gabunia (foto) opent met het thema uit de filmmuziek ‘Het verhaal van Ivane Kotorásjvili’ en sluit als soliste af met het vioolconcert uit 1981.
