Coming to you from the studios of the Concertzender / World of Jazz: Pocket Concerts. In this edition: Carolina Gemmell and Evan van der Feen.

Carolina Gemmell is a versatile vocalist, active in the Amsterdam jazz and soul scene, known for her authentic and emotionally charged voice. Pianist Evan van der Feen has received multiple awards for his expressive and dynamic playing. Together, they form a musical partnership in which improvisation is central. They perform both original repertoire and jazz standards with a playful, open spirit, giving their live performances a fresh and personal atmosphere.

They create a world that is jazzy, dreamy, and inventive. The balance between her voice and his piano playing forms an organic and sincere dialogue: introspective moments alternate with playful groove lines, making each performance feel like a unique, intimate experience.
