Radio Romantica brengt Rheinberger

Radio Romantica besteedt op 27 november aandacht aan Joseph Rheinberger. Als componist en hoogleraar compositie in München speelde die tijdens de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw een centrale rol in het muziekleven van München, Beieren en daarbuiten.  Ook in Rheinbergers Cantus Missae voor dubbelkoor a-cappella en zijn Requiem in d, geschreven één jaar voor zijn eigen dood in 1901, is de weemoed niet ver weg.
