Aflevering 14: Don’t Worry Be Happy. In de jaren 70 komt Blue Note in een moeilijke periode terecht. Veel jazzartiesten proberen overeind te blijven door hun muziekstijlen te veranderen of commerciële werken te spelen. Trompettist Donald Byrd weet op die manier nog een hit te scoren met ‘Black Byrd.’ In 1985 wordt de virtuoze pianist Michel Petrucciani een ster bij dit label en drie jaar later scoort Bobby McFerrin een wereldhit met het acapellanummer ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’.
