Freddy Johnson (1904-1961) was een in Harlem geboren pianist / zanger die in de V.S. bijna geen opnamen maakte. Hij kwam in 1928 naar Europa met de band van Sam Wooding. Toen deze naar New York terugkeerde, bleef Freddy Johnson in Parijs. Deel 1.
